A burger & fries OR a life changed for Christ?

Since there aren't any American fast food restaurants in Kenya, we have given up our love of burgers and fries and have settled for an occasional plate of chicken and chips when traveling through the interior of the country. We are not talking about Kentucky-fried birds here but a very hearty Kenyan breed of chicken that is more filling and considerably more chewy.   Of course 'chips' are the English version of American 'french fries' and not bad depending how well they are cooked and in what kind of oil.  The ketchup is orangish-red and not dark-red in color but that's a different subject and taste altogether.
It is just as well that we don't dwell on those things we cannot get here in Africa... since the price of one super-sized burger & fries meal a month would sponsor a pastor or church leader in bible training... and the cost of two such meals would sponsor two church leaders or pastors through bible training for a whole month... and foregoing a large pizza with all the toppings would put at least three pastors or church leaders through bible training for a month.
We sincerely believe that there are enough brothers and sisters in the body of Christ who would be willing to make such a sacrifice once a month so that thousands of pastors and church leaders in Kenya and throughout Africa will be able to buy Study Bibles, course manuals and be able to attend systematic bible training in their local villages.  The rewards are many -- better health for you -- and lives, families and churches changed for eternity through the Word of God and Jesus Christ, the true bread of life.   Please pray about joining us in the "Partnering with Pastors" mission!    For more information go to:
